5-8-13
God has
chosen His daughter well, my wife
Adorned in
humility and grace
I know
little of tenderness, gentleness, courage or love
that is out
of sight of your presence in my life
You speak
the words that bring me to truth,
God's
purposes and goodness are realized in you
Encouraging-
you build me up and I am the better for it
You see more
in me than I see in myself
such that I
aspire to be all you want of me, and for me
Nothing
that I have to offer compares to your worth
You are
truly a gift to me
A smile, a
laugh, a touch, an embrace
The richer
for your presence,
you are my
today and my tomorrow
An anchor
for my soul and the thought that
guides me,
I see in
you a beauty that you yourself do not embrace
but is true
nonetheless and so obvious to me
I am at
fault for the time you spend worrying and in self-doubt
It is time
misplaced
for you are
loved - adored, and beautiful
I fall so
short of expressing your worth to me
All the world,
and all the stars,
all that I
know to be light
are to me simply
reflections of your beauty and grace
When words
fail me, because words fail me
I do not
say what I know to be true
So listen
to my heart and know my truest thought
for all
that is right and true
for all
that I enjoy and cherish
for that
which makes me smile and that which makes me strong
that which
I hold dear, seek to protect and care for
all, all
begins with you and is all because of you
For you,
daughter of a King, are the queen of my heart
and all the
world to me
